Norris Lake is a TVA reservoir that reaches into Anderson, Campbell, Union, Claiborne and Grainger counties, with steep, wooded shoreline and deep coves. Not every lot that looks lakefront can have a dock: that depends on how TVA classifies the shoreline in front of it, and every dock needs a TVA permit. The water also drops a long way in winter. We look at the shoreline rights, the slope down to the water and the septic site before you commit to a design.
